KSU's Woodlee second in contest

ST. LOUIS -- Kansas State senior Kim Woodlee finished second to Fairfield's Holly Tapley in a nationally televised 3-point shooting contest Saturday.

Woodlee, who ended her career as K-State's career leader in 3-pointers made and as No. 2 on the Big 12 chart, hit 14 treys to Tapley's 15 in the final round.

In the first and second rounds, Woodlee went up against Arkansas' Wendy Willits and advanced by sinking 16 and 19 3-pointers, respectively.
