DALLAS -- Colorado women's basketball coach Ceal Barry will lead a group of 12 student-athletes from 11 Big 12 schools on the 2001 women's basketball All-Star Tour of Austria and Germany.
Each league school has one representative on the team except for Colorado, which has two, Sabrina Scott and Tera Bjorklund, and Texas Tech. The Lady Raiders will not have a representative because they will be conducting their own foreign tour at the same time.
The All-Star Team will assemble in Dallas on Aug. 4 for three days of practice sessions before leaving for Austria on Aug. 6.
The team will play six games in Austria and Germany and return to Dallas on Aug. 17. Barry's assistants, Tanya Haave and Kris Livingston, as well as trainer Kristen Payne, will assist her on the tour.
