Kansas State's Kristin Rethman and Kansas' KC Hilgenkamp have been named to the Big 12 women's all-star team that will tour Austria and Germany in August.
Rethman is the second K-State player to make the team. Former Wildcat Nicky Ramage helped the squad go 5-1 in 1999 during a tour of Finland and Sweden.
Colorado's Ceal Barry will coach the team.
Rethman, one of the Big 12's top 3-point shooters at 45.2 percent, averaged 11.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.5 treys per game last season.
The all-stars will assemble in Dallas on Aug. 4 for three days of practice before leaving for Austria on Aug. 6.
The Big 12 set an NCAA record for women's cumulative and average attendance, according to the NCAA News. Through 175 games, including six sessions of the Big 12 Tournament, the conference recorded 880,255 spectators for an average of 5,030 per game. The Big 12 is the first conference to exceed the 5,000 per game mark.
